CAFFE IBIS Cafe Manager in LOGAN, Utah
Oversee the daily operation of downtown café-deli with natural foods orientation. Supervise hiring, scheduling, training and disciplining of employees, assigning tasks, and ensuring all duties and responsibilities are performed seamlessly for each work shift. Organize periodic staff informational-training meetings, review and approve timecards, record employee purchases, record and disburse gratuities. Motivate, lead, and build a skilled staff. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, inventory management, and sales and event analyses. Meet quality and food service regulatory requirements, provide tone for exceptional service. Participate in downtown business organizations and events. Maintain and enhance relationships within the downtown community and non-profit organizations. Stimulate change, challenge assumption and create and maintain an environment conducive to learning, growing, and adaptability and flexibility. Support a culture of pride, ownership and desire to exceed expectation. Work closely with owners, Deli Manager, Purchasing, Art-Music Gallery and Roasting Facility staff. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities and problem solve. Cultivate and support a community oriented toward sustainability, organic-whole-local and seasonal foods. Associates degree with two years of retail-food service management, human resource management, Excel, and experience with POS desirable. Fundamental business orientation, personal motivation and accountability, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and basic computer technical skills required. Position is full time (normally 35 to 40 hours per week, occasionally as high as 50), and is point of contact for café staff or operations questions and needs.
