WESTGATE RESORTS INC Lead Concierge in PARK CITY, Utah
SUMMARY Provides personalized services to the guest including but not limited to arranging for tickets to both Las Vegas shows and Grand Canyon tours, while providing the guest with information on activities and events in Las Vegas. In addition, the concierge is available to help the guest with any and all requests for services in order to exceed the guests expectation while at Westgate resorts. DUTIES Booking guests for the Grand Canyon and selling show tickets for the Las Vegas shows; Provides guest with information regarding local restaurants, shopping and attractions, in addition to providing directions when requested, information for local religious services with schedules and locations, golf course reservations, sporting events tickets, and child-pet care; Assists guest with special requests for services such as limousine service; airline boarding passes and travel information if necessary; Helps resolve minor guest complaints in order to provide the guest with the best experience; makes supervisor aware of major guest complaints. EDUCATION and-or EXPERIENCE One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and-or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITIES Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
