The Park City Ice Arena is seeking an outgoing and friendly person for a part-time, year-round front desk customer service position. General duties include greeting customers, collecting fees, program registration and keeping the area clean. Candidates must be reliable, responsible and should have a strong customer service background. Candidates should have the ability to communicate with the public, a positive attitude, and work well as part of a team. Experience with a POS system a plus, but not required. Primarily night shifts and weekend shifts required, occasional day shifts. Must be able to pass a background check. Questions: Call Jessica Walker at (435) 615-5718 or jessica.walker@parkcity.org Examples of Job Duties Under the general guidance and direction of the Front Desk Team Leader, and Ice Management Team, Customer Service Representatives will oversee the front desk area of the Park City Ice Arena. Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with both internal and external customers. Maintain a thorough knowledge of facility programs and information and facility software as it pertains to the Front Desk. Perform a variety of patron services, including but not limited to answering questions, registration and fee collection, ensuring waiver forms are signed for all applicable programs and providing First Aid. Prepares the lobby and party rooms according to the daily facility schedule. Distributes rental skates and equipment and performs basic rental skate cleaning and repairs. Identifies, prioritizes and completes cleaning tasks as needed to ensure a clean and safe facility that facilitates an outstanding guest experience. Requires sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, glass cleaning, scrubbing, trash removal and other typical custodial duties. Communicates pertinent information in a timely manner with appropriate personnel regarding policy, safety, cleaning and customer service issues. Enforce policies and arena rules to ensure the safety of all guests Attend Front Desk Team and All Staff meetings Follow City's Policies and Procedures and Cash Handling polices Responsible for following opening and closing procedures of the Park City Ice Arena Performs other duties as assigned or directed Experience and Qualifications Required: Must be committed and able to provide excellent customer service and be able to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays Must have good cash handling skills and be able to effectively operate a computerized POS system Must have a strong sense of teamwork, prioritization, and self-motivation Enthusiastic, friendly, and courteous individuals required Must have good oral and written communication skills Must be able to obtain First Aid and CPR certification Preferred: At least one-year customer service experience with references. Previous experience with a computerized POS system.
