          Day to Day Work

          Unisys Audit & Management Services team support the Board and Executive and Operating Management in the fulfillment of their fiduciary and operating responsibilities using a systematic, disciplined approach to assessing risks, evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of controls and improving business process operations and governance requirements. Department staff consist of accomplished audit professionals and high potential internal operations personnel who collaborate to provide objective assurance services and consulting expertise that adds value to the Company' s operations, most significant risks and business opportunities while also providing the most advanced management leadership and development experience in the company for executive potential talent.

          The Role:

          As a member of the Internal Audit Team you will be an individual contributor and performing various audit assignments that include:


          • Audit the various corporate organizations against evolving industry trends and best practices, as well as propose creative, pragmatic solutions for potential risk and control issues.

          • Assist in identifying systemic issues to effectively implement corporate and departmental strategies.

          • Apply quantitative methods and financial concepts to internal operating procedures, ensure optimal use of resources, and leverage technology to develop solutions.

          • Recommend solutions to mitigate business risks, secure and streamline operations, and reduce costs.

          • Occasional Business Travel

          Key criteria for success:


          • B.A. or B.Sc. with focus in Accounting is required if candidate does not have CPA certification or professional foreign certification.

          • 2-3 years experience in Big 4 Public Accounting firm required.

          • Experience in audit/risk assessment techniques and principles; and conversant in risk management terminology and concepts, particularly as applied to a technology organization

          • Knowledge of current accounting and auditing standards, emerging issues, project management, operations and operations management

          • CPA or Charter Accountant or equivalent international professional accounting/finance qualification preferred.

          • Successful candidate has worked in a Corporate Finance environment or professional services environment with an understanding of revenue recognition issues in these environments, a plus.
