POSITION SUMMARY
BI-Business Intelligence,DB scripts and programming - Medicity is looking for a highly capable business intelligence developer to support a new product offering within the Medicity product portfolio. The right candidate will be energized by the opportunity to help visualize the value created by health information exchange networks. As a national leader in HIE, Medicity serves Hospitals, Labs, Health Systems and many US State and Regional organizations. Position to office in Alpharetta, GA Responsibilities include: -Work independently or on a team to design, build, stabilize and deploy Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PerformancePoint, Excel Services, and SharePoint-Participate in customer team meetings and lead conversations with senior client personnel to understand business and technical requirements, and present technical product-based solutions to client-Maintain an applied understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Mart Design, and Big Data concepts-Convey technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical people-Develop accurate estimates and project plans for portions of a project; lead team meetings to discuss ongoing project status and deliverables; assist team in meeting project goals and timelines-Manage assigned work with minimal oversight and proactively communicate status and risks to project leadershipSkills required:- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 in the following areas: * Microsoft Business Intelligence tools (SQL Analysis Services (MOLAP, MDX), SSIS, SSRS) * SQL Server Reporting Services * ETL: Integration Services or a similar tool - Extensive experience in developing BI applications such as business area dashboards or large enterprise applications such as an Enterprise Information Portal and its components - A working knowledge of security within SQL Server and the business intelligence tools - Experience with query tools, report writers and OLAP tools (Actve Reports, LogiXML) - Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and design (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) - Appropriate professional certifications

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
