Director Key Account Managers Location: Salt Lake City, UT This position can be worked remotely anywhere in the USA. The Director Key Account Managers is accountable for overseeing a team of Key Account Managers and Sr. Key Account Managers who are responsible for delivering world class account management and business direction to inContacts most important customers. Specifically, this position is responsible for overseeing the customer base crosssell and upsell efforts as well as building long-term consultative relationships with new and existing customers. These relationships will be built by understanding the customer business goals, proposing enhancements to product and-or services and addressing how clients can achieve better business outcomes by leveraging inContact technology products. This position will be responsible for and compensated on a sales quota in addition to growing the revenue of an account base, including renewals. The Director Key Account Managers' involvement with the client will encompass the entire lifecycle of the relationship - beginning with the initial implementation and carry through to building a long-term relationship. Client interaction will be done both over the phone- WebEx and face to face. Additionally this position will work in concert with our Technical Support team. Together, these teams are responsible to ensure both customer longevity and systematic growth. As a Director Key Account Managers, a Typical Day Might Include the Following: Achieving or exceeding sales targets. Recruit, Select, Coach and Train Key Account Managers and Sr. Key Account Managers. Sales Forecasting. Negotiate profitable contracts, terms and conditions. Increase pipeline through targeted campaigns. Manage-overcome customer prospect objections. Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of inContact product lines. Create new revenue opportunities with focus on driving business to close in existing accounts. Work with inContact's Implementation team to play a role in smooth customer implementations by providing assistance as directed and provide appropriate feedback to the greater sales team post turn up. Measure success via tracking of client retention and revenue growth. 30-40% travel throughout the US to work side by side with Key Account Managers. To Land This Gig You'll Need: Bachelors degree in Business Management, Communications, or Marketing or equivalent work experience required. Masters degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred. 12+ years combined sales- Account management function in customer service, call-contact center and-or service delivery. 5+ years applicable experience in Sales Management Demonstrated achievement in managing competing priorities. Strong analytical and financial skills. Demonstrated achievement in creating, building and leading a successful sales team. Comfortable and successful in a fast paced, growth oriented company. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Proved history of exceeding quotas. Excellent customer facing skills. Experience in working across functional teams such as Professional Services, Technical Support, Product Managment, and Finance. Strong hiring skills and experience onboarding new reps.
