Provides laboratory consulting services to clients primarily for the purpose of guiding them in improving their processes and services. Has direct interaction with clients and is responsible for providing various types of consultation as well as monitoring

market environment and trends.

  • Provides in-depth specialized utilization management consulting services to clients

  • Assists with outreach and operational analysis as needed.

  • Has direct interaction with Regional Vice President, Sales and Account Executives regarding mutual clients.

  • Collaborates with regional field consultants to deliver comprehensive consultation services as needed.

  • Travel: Ability to travel off-site up to up to 30% of time.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, market research, health services administration, medical technology, or related field.

  • Five years of experience in the healthcare industry, some of which in laboratory medicine

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or other presentation tools)

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Internet and other research methods

  • Demonstrated strong analytical research skill sets

Physical and other requirements:

  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.

  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

  • Mobility: The person in this position needs to occasionally move between work sites and inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

  • Communicate: Frequently communicate with others.

  • PPE: Biohazard laboratory environment that requires use of personal protective equipment in accordance with CDC and OSHA regulations and company policies.

  • ARUP Policies and Procedures: To conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures.

  • Authorized to Work: Must be a citizen of the United States or authorized to work in the United States.

  • Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

  • English: Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
