State of Utah - Jobs Legal Technology Specialist in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Incumbent in this position works in coordination with the Office of the Utah Attorney General litigation attorneys,Administration,and IT staff and will specialize in high level electronic data,information and document management,collection and control. Incumbent possesses an Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies or a Bachelors Degree in a related field,and must possess a minimum of three years' experience working as a paralegal or legal document control expert. Incumbent has sufficient direct legal experience to be given moderate independence in making decisions to carry out assignments in complex litigation management and the ability to control high volumes of electronic data,documents,and other information. Incumbent must have the ability to independently manage discovery processes involving large volumes of information stored in an electronic format through use of computer technology,digital scanners and document management software. Incumbent will possess advanced knowledge and understanding of management software programs and database manipulation and have a working knowledge of state and federal e-discovery rules and requirements. Incumbent should be detail oriented,demonstrate good analytical skills,excellent customer service skills,and must be able to work well in a team environment and be receptive to new projects and responsibilities. This position will also involve training and mentoring in the area of electronic document management and serve as a litigation resource to trial teams generally. May be required to travel as needed.
