Job Description
The contractor shall have on its permanent staff or retained as a
consultant, a QCM while performing FFP IT Fit-up tasks. The QCM shall
obtain a working knowledge of the American National Standards
Institute (ANSI) standards and the applicable NSA standards, and
shall ensure standards-based compliance for the installation of all
cabling, termination hardware, and cable pathways installed by the
contractor in telecommunications grounding and telecommunications
spaces.
„h Quality Control Manager: Minimum of 10 years experience
performing QC on efforts similar in size or complexity of
requirements to the UDC fit-up. Shall possess a minimum of a Building
Industry Consulting Services, International (BICSI) Registered
Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification. The QCM
shall be TS/SCI level cleared.
(U) The QCM shall review or submit any drawings, cable running
lists, or installation/ implementation plans pertaining to cabling
infrastructure, grounding, or telecommunication space layout.
(U) The QCM shall perform on-site QC inspections of all cable and
telecommunications space installations. The QCM shall develop and
maintain a re-work list for identifying and rectifying non-compliant
installation. This re-work list, with issue resolution comments,
shall be made available to the Government on demand.
