Our Client in Salt Lake City, Utah seeks the following:

Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday; Day shift.

• Provide technical support over the phone and email.

• Indoor position, requires sitting and ability to lift up to 25lbs. if necessary.

Position Summary:

This position records customer complaints or requests for service and repair for Capital Equipment received by telephone or email in the CESC module of TrackWise. The position performs interactive troubleshooting on Bard owned and customer owned Capital Equipment and completes the CESC file.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • One to two (1-2) years of experience in a related area or equivalency.

  • Demonstrated human relations and communication skills.

  • Sound experience with Email, Word Processing, Excel spreadsheets, and strong telephone skills.

  • Ability to work with customers and sales representatives to troubleshoot possible issues with Capital Equipment.

  • Prior experience in a regulated industry and/or knowledge of medical terminology helpful (not required)

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite and general computer skills.

  • Grammar, writing and editing skills and proofreading competency.

  • Excellent organizational and functional skills.

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to convey ideas and information to customers over the phone.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality about information received in the course of duties in compliance with HIPPA regulations.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritizes tasks.

  • Functions well under pressure.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative

  • Functions as the primary internal contact for customers registering Capital Equipment complaints or requests for service and repair.

  • Makes a determination if the information received from a customer constitutes a complaint or troubleshooting or routine servicing of Capital Equipment.

  • Documents complaints and service and repair requests received and assures accurate completion of the appropriate fields for recording evaluations of complaints, service requests and troubleshooting.

  • Performs Sales Order number tracking and stock number look up for Customer Service.

  • Interfaces with domestic customers, sales representatives or other personnel regarding the return of Capital Equipment, when necessary, the procurement of additional information for the complaint or service and repair request, including product ownership and warranty information.

  • Processes loaner equipment requests and verifies the status of Capital Equipment sent for repair.

  • Performs serial number searches for Customer Service.

  • Processes return of Capital Equipment for service and repair through Customer Service.

  • Verifies inventory with Customer Service.

    W2/ HOURLY PAY RATE: Open (based upon experience and qualifications)

  • There is no “per diem” with this position

  • There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
