PRISMVIEW Cabinet Assembly Lead in LOGAN, Utah

Cabinet Assembly Lead Job Function: Provide leadership to employees and supports the Cabinet Assembly Supervisor in determining repair needs, materials, planning work schedules, making assignments and inspecting work. Direct the activity of the cabinet assembly areas in an efficient manner in order to produce the desired quality, quantity and cost of work. Subordinates: • Cabinet Assembler Responsibilities: • Receive general supervision from Cabinet Assembly Supervisor • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints • Check drawing specification to determine required materials for parts and painting needed in that area • Train new sheet metal employees on the proper work procedures and policies • Communicate with Sheet Metal leadership, co-workers and subordinates to provide information on problems, job status, quality and safety • Oversee inspection of equipment, structures or materials in order to identify the cause of errors or other problems and defects and make any necessary adjustments • Maintain production-tracking records • Promote and enforce the company safety policies • Fill in for Cabinet Assembly Supervisor during manager's absence Required Skills: • High School Diploma or GED equivalent • 2 year Technical Certificate or Associate Degree, preferred • 5-7 years' experience with at least 2 years in a leadership position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings • Ability to stand for long periods of time; or perform recurring activities such as bending, crouching, stooping, stretching and reaching • Good math skills including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, trigonometry and their applications • Detail-oriented Prismview is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
